Welcome back to another episode! This week, we discussed the NBA playoffs, thew new Drake album and more! Big shoutout to our special guest KJ! Check it out!
All right, uh I want to welcome everybody back in to another episode of the Fourth Down Podcast. Back at it again with the normal guys, Lee, Dorian and Dre.
SPEAKER_02What's good?
SPEAKER_01Got a special guest with us today, my boy KJ. Yo. How you feeling today, brother?
SPEAKER_05Feeling good, man. How y'all doing? Good, bro. We're good. Happy to have you, man. Appreciate it, man. About time. Yeah, let's get into it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, thanks. Thanks for joining us. You know, it's been a little minute. Um, it's been a little uh a little a little cold outside, right? Because the Iceman just dropped, you know what I'm talking about? He dropped 6666 three three three albums Iceman, Habib T, and uh Maid of Honor. So I I guess I want to ask y'all first real quick impressions on the albums when y'all heard them, if y'all did hear them. Flows open to anybody.
SPEAKER_02Damn, why everybody looks like I'm gonna be the positive one, they gotta let y'all go for it.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it ain't nothing. All right, well, look, I ain't gonna be negative about it, but I'll start with saying like this Iceman was good. I definitely like that one. Um, a lot of bangers on that. Um wasn't a fan of the other two. What was it? Habiti, Nate of Honor. Native Honor. Um, wasn't fans of them. Maybe, I don't know, maybe a month or two from now, if like I do happen to listen to it again, I may like a couple of them, but just all first listens and first impressions. I wasn't really banging with it. But Iceman, for sure, slaps. But before we get in, and I'm gonna let everybody else talk about Iceman, I will say Iceman wasn't the best album to drop that weekend. I'll just say that. But go ahead, everybody.
SPEAKER_05I feel like Iceman was cool, bro. Like Iceman was cool. I feel like the other two were kind of misses for me personally, but I don't know. I feel like he was talking his stuff on it. I feel like he can he had a lot to get off his chest. And so I could definitely feel that it's been a long two years. So I feel like I was telling Shah this earlier. I feel like he should have dropped something like this closer to the beef, so that way that like he could have like capitalized, and like, yo, I'm still that guy. I mean, obviously he's still Drake at the end of the day, but like I feel like he should have capitalized sooner off of the beef and like what had happened because he got done up, but like, you know, I feel like what he was dropping after the beef, like Waguandalala, that wasn't.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean I completely forgot. Before I give my opinion on the type of thing, just to respond to that, right? I feel like the situation that Drake was in, the fact that he was losing the public image, whatever he would have dropped wouldn't have hit because nobody was in favor of Drake in the moment where he was beefing with Kendrick. So in my opinion, like, if he were, like, for example, like when it came to the beef between them two, right? Like, I thought Family Matters was the best song that both of them put out. Between them two, right? I thought it was the best this. But not like Gus was the hottest song, right? It got like what, six, seven Grammys. It's actually the most decorated rap song in rap history. Which is insane. So in my opinion, like, I feel like he it was better for him to wait, um, just off the strength that nobody was gonna digest his music, right? Because no one was on his side.
SPEAKER_05Could it be that could it be that he did that to himself, though? Like, I mean, yeah, he played a part. Did y'all like the Almost Party?
SPEAKER_02I did.
SPEAKER_01I thought it was for you.
SPEAKER_06It was what it was supposed to do. Like, I like it did what it was supposed to do, but it's not an album I'm gonna go back and listen to. Yeah, it's just I think that's that's a target of this type of album.
SPEAKER_05That's what I'm saying, though. Like that being the one that you drop after the beef, though, that probably should be this album, what you drop.
SPEAKER_02Well, I felt like it was kind of like you know how Wayne did like sorry for the weight. I felt like it was a sorry for the weight type of album. Like, I'm really working on a real project, so let me just give y'all some of the little buffer throwaways, yeah. That's how I viewed it.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I uh to KJ's point though, like we he talking about the beef two years later. Like, and it's like, all right, bro, we kind of like moved on from it. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_06Like, what's my issue with that, with all of that? I ain't gonna lie, that wasn't that was literally one of the only issues why I didn't like some of the songs on there. Because it's like, bro, I get it, bro. It's been two years. I feel like if he was gonna do this, it should have been around a time where he where if if Kendrick, if he would have dropped um Iceman or anything like that closer to G and X, I feel like it would have been a lot more different. And I don't believe what you said, like because he was losing the public eye, he still had a lot of Drake still had a lot of fans, even now that would have probably still the whole club was calling him a pedophile.
SPEAKER_02I'm not I'm not gonna lie. No matter what he dropped, it wasn't gonna be in his favor, bro.
SPEAKER_06That was the most popular song at the moment, but that still doesn't uh like take away from Drake fans, Drake stands. It's always gonna be Drake fans, Drake stands. It's always gonna be Kendrick fans, Kendrick stands. At that point, Kendrick fans was winning because Drake was silent. That's the only reason why it was going up like that.
SPEAKER_02Well, I mean, just to give my opinion, right? Like, when it comes, like I'm I'm a fan, not a stand, trust me. Like, I like I like I like listen, I like Jake more than Drake, right? So don't I don't like everything he put out. I'm not that guy, right? But in my opinion, over that two year span, while y'all are saying he should have dropped it closer to GNX and closer to the beef, over that two year span, niggas kept talking shit. Now Kendrick stopped. Kendrick himself stopped because Kendrick felt like he won. He had nothing else to say. Ross kept talking shit. Um, Braun kept acting weird. Umsap was quiet, and then he dropped the album and dissed him on the album. So you was quiet the whole beef, and then you dissed him when you dropped. That's why he was dissing him doing his PR run. That's what I'm saying. That's why Burning Bridges, you know, came out. He like, yo, your big you dropped the whole album, your big mother Rihanna didn't even post nothing about your album, bro. Like, where's she at? Like, do you okay? So do you my biggest? No, no, no. I was just I was just saying all that to say, like, I don't think that I don't think that the timing was completely wrong because outside of Kendrick, everybody else kept talking shit. So it's like, yo, like, he's sitting on it and he like, all right, like I, you know, I'm analyzing this. Like, it was really like whether whether you're on Drake's side or not, right? And like it was really a 20v1, bro. Like, it was really like 10 niggas versus Drake. But that's what I'm saying, though. You can't address all them niggas right. So he sat there, he absorbed it. He sat there, he absorbed it, and then he went and he worked.
SPEAKER_06But like obviously didn't understand why like everybody else hopped in it though. It was originally just Drake, just Kendrick. Where did everybody else come from? That's not even what's my issue, bro. Like, what was the point of everybody even saying anything? Because we future ended up on Iceman. So, like, yeah, that was a little flip-flop in the songs. He was he was on Iceman, he was on Songs with Kendrick, and he was on J. Cole album. The thing with Future just making a bag for real. That's all he was doing. That's what he should do.
SPEAKER_02The thing with Future, though, was like Drake was kind of mad at him because he was like, yo, you my man's. And when everybody was jumping on me, you ain't really had my back. It wasn't about anything he said or did directly to Drake. It was about what he didn't do. You know what I mean? And then that's why people was like, yo, Drake, that's kind of flip-floppy because that's the same shit J. Cole did, right? J. Cole didn't have your back, and that's why you don't fuck with him no more. But you forgave future and not Cole. So it was a little weird on that aspect.
SPEAKER_03But that's because I think in the reality, like, this is just what I had heard when like when all the shit came out and happened. I think Drake really realized that he kind of did do future wrong a little bit because her loss, that whole her loss and that run, was supposed to be what a time to be alive too. And he never Drake, and I mean, you took, you literally went and linked up with another nigga from your city. As far as talking about future about Drake. So you talking, you went to linked up with another Atlanta nigga, made a whole nother album, went on a whole tour run, and the whole day did that when we were supposed to literally do what a time to be alive too. Like it was supposed to be a thing.
SPEAKER_02I think it's still what happened though. Yeah, I mean, I think they cleaned out, yeah.
SPEAKER_03But it was like that was like that was supposed to be future's whole like be for real with Drake and why like that was even why he even hopped on them songs and did all that shit. But also, honestly, if you ask me, like I even said this back then when it was the thing because of the fact that the way that these niggas was literally dropping, like literally future and Kendrick. I mean, Drake and Kendrick were dropping like six minutes after each other on fucking YouTube. But honestly, yo, I really do believe that like that whole beef. I'm not gonna say it was fake or fabricated. I'm sure these niggas do like competitively, like on a music level, want to compete, like they want to, you know, be the better artist. But when it just came down, like I just feel like all that shit was fake.
SPEAKER_01It's just like it's like I think I think Kendrick really messed up Drake.
SPEAKER_03I ain't gonna lie, because like as far as when it came to like everybody else hopping in and doing all it's just like what the fuck was the point of doing any of that?
SPEAKER_01Like, I just brought up that just brings me back to my other point, bro. Cause I felt like Drake didn't need to address everybody. Like, I feel like he should have just addressed Kendrick. Because like I like it's no point in addressing everybody if they're like beneath you as a rapper. You know what I mean? Like, at first I was on the side that he should like go at everybody, but like, you know how many people diss Jay-Z daily and he doesn't respond to them?
SPEAKER_02I mean, if that's my only feedback to that is, right? Think about your life and how many people you could have let slide who was nobody to you and you didn't, right? So he's a human, bro. Like, I get it, bro. But like you, you've been talking trash about me for two years. I haven't dropped nothing but songs for women. So now when I'm dropping my actual album, I'm addressed all bro, he he every Iceman song, every almost every, I won't say every, maybe like 75% of Iceman, was him just addressing everybody one by one.
SPEAKER_01He already did that on Family Matters, though. He doesn't need to do it a second time.
SPEAKER_02You know what I mean? I mean, he didn't address everybody in Family Matters. He addressed just about everybody. Family Matters didn't get the love it was supposed to get because Not Like Us came right after it.
SPEAKER_05I mean, yeah, yeah, it was Meet the Grams then the next day was.
SPEAKER_02It was Meet the Grams, Family Matter, Not Like Us. That was the order. And so, like, uh just to bring it back to your initial question, though, um, I do think Maid of Honor was slightly amiss. Um it was like the only reason I say slightly because you can call it what it is, bro. It was ass, bro. No, no, no, no. The only reason I say that is because I can tell he made that strictly for the club. Like, I it's not for me to bump with my headphones or my car or none of that. So like I just feel like that was the whole purpose of it, to give us club songs, and I didn't like it. It's basically Honestly Nevermind 2. Um, but Habibti, I liked it, bro. Habibti, WNBA? Danger. The thing I don't get about that criticism of that album is everyone says that they like the old Drake. That's the old Drake. Like, singing Drake is the old Drake, and Habibti is literally an RB album. Like old Drake in the sense of just singing? Like, take care. Like, like that kind of Drake. Habibti is a take care style album.
SPEAKER_05Take care, but comparing that to like take care of the.
SPEAKER_02Take care is way better, trust me. But I'm saying the style, right? Like, people, a lot of criticism with Drake would take was I don't like this new tough guy stuff. That's not you, right? You're the kid, you're the kid from Toronto, the the nerdy kid from Toronto who ran into some money and just started getting girls. That was the image that people fell in love with, and then he started trying to act like a gangster. So that pushed people away from Drake. They're like, that's not you.
SPEAKER_05I think his public image is taking a hit just because like the things he does on the side, it's like streams like with Aiden Ross, uh stuff like that. Like, I think for me personally, I want like I was talking with Shah, like, I want the introspective a little bit because it's like being at the top of the game and then like everybody wants at you. Like, yo, like when he was talking about, yo, that really hurt that July, like I want him to go deeper into that.
SPEAKER_01I like that little bit because like I did like that.
SPEAKER_05Like, that's that's interesting because it's like you at the you at the peak, top of your game, and then all of a sudden, like, you know, this happened. So your whole image is crazy, you look crazy, and now everybody calling you a PDF on like in a club and some stuff like that. You know what I'm saying? It's like I I would have preferred that type of angle, but I get why he still went at next, like like the way he did on the album, though.
SPEAKER_01Leek, you said that uh Drake didn't have a hardest album that week, and you said it was uh Lucky.
SPEAKER_03Can you can you speak on that a little bit? Oh yeah, my boy Lucky dropped drugs are bad. Um, it was a very highly anticipated album. It's been something he's been teasing for like the last year, year and a half now. Um I mean, I don't know. I feel like I'm probably gonna be the only one to really speak on it. I don't think anybody else.
SPEAKER_02I just ain't hear it, so I don't got no.
SPEAKER_03Uh I mean one, I mean, I listen, it's not for everybody, no, and it's kind of crazy because though on the initial listen, when I first bumped it, it's not necessarily the lucky that like everybody necessarily might be used to. Like flawless like me, that's probably not the same type of lucky. Like, I know did y'all ever heard superheroes? No, of course not. Okay. Um But for the people that do know, like as far as how lucky like how lucky it is, um, it was a little bit different. And I ain't gonna lie, I can kind of tell based off the singles he was dropping over the last year, that it wasn't gonna be the same kind of sound from him. Yeah. So um I will say though, there are some like there's some songs on there that I think that like generally like y'all would definitely bump. But um go listen to the song with Lil Baby, Can't Be Trusted. I think y'all fuck with that. I think you fuck with that too. There's a song on there called Um Brown Tripsky. I think you'll fuck with that too. It's more of like a hard beat on it. Um but nah, me personally though, I just that like I that's really just what I've been bumping more than even Iceman, honestly, if you ask me. Like I've been bumping the shit out of that album. Also, honorable mention on music. I don't even know if y'all gonna know who these niggas are, but Warhol and B6 dropped a joint album like last month, I think, and I've been bumping the shit out of that. That's very underrated. It's called uh Can't Feel My Face. Definitely should check that out.
SPEAKER_06I got my honorable mention for music too. Kenny Mason dropped that same week. And I don't know if y'all ever gonna know what that is.
SPEAKER_01But is he jazz? Uh huh. Is he said Jez?
SPEAKER_06That's not Jazz, is it? Nah, he rap.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, yeah, and V's dropped. Yeah, it's funny though, the uh the V's tape that he dropped is called Y'all One, and it's just literally like I want to say a month ago, uh V a lot of V's music was leaked, and literally the tape that he dropped is literally just the leaks, and it's just kind of funny that he called it y'all one because it's like, all right, niggas here, here, here's music. And it's just funny because as a fan, I'm just like, yeah, nigga, drop some music. Like, why you like niggas just teasing us like here?
SPEAKER_06Y'all v's wasn't dropping. Like, that's that's like I he's bro, he got bro. Why is everybody like keep all their good music in the vault? Like, V's is one of them that's like, bro, you be on everybody's shit, and you got great music in the vault.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm only I only know him through his features. I don't know.
SPEAKER_05Some good songs, though. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_02That's why I didn't want to necessarily give the feedback of like saying, you know, if I agreed or disagreed, because I do already acknowledge that guys like V's and Lucky, I don't know the other guys y'all mentioned. I'm not gonna lie. But V's and Lucky, I I'm hip too, right? I just don't bump them enough to know their individual stuff. But when I see them on other people's stuff, I usually like their songs. So that's why I'm like, I can't necessarily say I agree or disagree because I haven't heard the album, but you pointing out there are songs on there that, you know, because you know, as we've been doing the podcast, you start to get a feel for the music. I like, you say those songs on there I like, I'll go listen to it. You know what I mean? So I'm I'm open to it.
SPEAKER_03You personally, I don't think you're gonna like it. It's fine, yo. Everything's not everything's not for everybody. He's definitely not. Like, but that's the thing, like, it's some good ass songs on there. Like, I think you should. No, no, no, no, for sure. I run random thing. He is a song on there he sampled uh bound to this song, Kanye West's song.
SPEAKER_01Oh, with uh is that the joint with Kim Kim Kim Kona? Um Charlie Wilson. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, um, any any last quick hit thoughts on music before we wanted to ask, like, for the songs, I mean Iceman, right? Oh, what what was your favorite song? Yeah. Little Birdie for me. Little Birdie. For me, it's Whisper of My Name.
SPEAKER_03I've been bumping the shit out of Lil Birdie, I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_02Bro, I really I just think Whisper My Name's beat is insane, bro.
SPEAKER_01Whisper My Name is hard. I think about with futures. I've been telling you atlanta. That shit is tough. I mean, but I don't want to say the easy ones, but Janet STFU the gang. I'm gonna say the evil. I gotta look that one up. I love those songs.
SPEAKER_03All right, let me don't let me clear the air. They're great songs. I love them. I personally don't know why they hype this fucking why they so hype.
SPEAKER_04They're not gonna be a good one. Because it's a vibe, it's not it's not about STFU.
SPEAKER_02I'll just explain Janice, right? Like it's not supposed to be a good thing. It's not it's not supposed to be this like intellectual thing, it's not supposed to be the lyrical thing, it's not even supposed to be that great of a like art type of song put together, right? It's not meant to show no audio, it's just a vibe, bro. I'm not gonna lie. Like that, he's not saying anything.
SPEAKER_04Like everybody going crazy about the beat.
SPEAKER_06Like, don't be wrong, the beat is cool, but it's like it's it's literally just I ain't gonna lie, that second verse in Dennis STFU, kinda tough. Well, the whole song. Yeah, shit is kind of tough. That's a good thing. I fuck with the songs, but like that second verse. Like, but he was really bro, he said some shit in the second verse, so I'm like, all right, I'll give him that one. And then the run to Atlanta was cool. I thought future.
SPEAKER_05I feel like his B selection was really good. I was talking about the uh the B switch is gonna get a little bit OD.
SPEAKER_03I personally like music like that, though. I ain't gonna lie. I like music. All the time though.
SPEAKER_02Well, I listen to Nine Vicious, so I so uh Bip T that song classic. I like Bip T. Yeah, that's what the visual was talking about. I wish he would have just finished it the way it went. Like the last minute is just like a sample.
SPEAKER_05That's what I'm saying. Like some of the beat switches, I'd be like, yo, I was really messing with that first beat. Yeah, you could have just you could you could just yeah, yeah, you could have left it alone, bro. Yeah, but you could have just left it alone.
SPEAKER_03Like, was anybody else wanting him to rap on that, like that nice man, baby? That shit, that beat that played for like 30 seconds at the end of the album. I thought that that was gonna come out and be like a song or like the intro or something. It was fine the way it was. Like, I like that beat so much when it was like when they were doing the rollout. I'm like, oh yeah, that's gonna be a good song. And then it was just like the last 30 seconds of the outro.
SPEAKER_02I was like, What do you say? I was uh I was Aiden Ross with Strange.
SPEAKER_03No, which song was that? Because honestly, I think that was making pay. I like that. That's probably my favorite bar right now.
SPEAKER_01Not gonna lie, bro. I the National Treasure, I think that one was real hard too. That was tough.
SPEAKER_02I feel about him like for real, for real. Like, obviously, whether you like LeBron or not, how do you feel about like a rapper dissing someone who is not going to rap back? I don't think it was pretty pointless.
SPEAKER_01You see, it goes back to my main point. No, I don't think we can make this the last thing on music, then we can move on.
SPEAKER_03But I don't think that because when you have a personal relationship with that person, it it all it that's off the table. That nigga, I and I I referenced this to somebody I was talking to. You go back to one of I think Braun's first or second barbershop interviews where Drake was on there and it was like one of them app music niggas. He literally sat there, he looked at him. Braun said, he was like, What did I tell you? What did I text you? Drake said, You told me that I could never let you down and never disappoint you. You got niggas saying shit and talking to about you like that and talking to niggas like that. I'm sorry, but like if once something happens, the relationship is like that, yeah.
SPEAKER_02You all off the table. He can definitely, I think Drake is right. I'm just saying, like, I he's right to feel how you feel. I'm just saying, like, I don't know what to do. It's based on the relationship, I guess. This ain't an NBA nigga, though. Like, he did it with DeMar DeRose and speaking. Hey, I thought that was hard.
SPEAKER_01When he dissed DeMar, again, based on the based on your relationship.
SPEAKER_02But they're just not gonna respond, though.
SPEAKER_01It's just like he responded by going to the pop-out.
SPEAKER_02That's their response.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he can respond in a way. I just think that for Braun, knowing how the way that like how I view Braun, how we view Braun, like I really don't think he meant really anything by not.
SPEAKER_03It was like that. Braun's saying they're having a concert in the city.
SPEAKER_05But he don't know, like like the pop-out, that's a little different. But I think like Bron just be posting music. But you you don't even know the lyrics.
SPEAKER_01You going out your way to support Kendrick at this pop-out show, bro?
SPEAKER_04He's in LA, he pays for the makers. In LA, bro. Like, you went to the concert. That concert was in LA. No, what where where did it have? It was in crypto. His fucking arena. Was it crypto? Yes, it was in the club. I can see how this was making Drake feel, bro.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no, no. No, that's why I'm saying Drake is right to feel how he feels, but he didn't go out his way to do I think Braun literally got invited to a concert.
SPEAKER_05He went at all. I think that's a cop like that's a concert where like everyone's performing, like you getting all these dudes on the stage. Everyone, their mama was in there if you out west. Like it just made sense. I do think that like what I have posted it, probably, I don't know, maybe knowing how Braun is with music because he was at AR for uh two change project. Like, um, like just knowing how bro that's gonna be this could be the last point. Just knowing how bro, just knowing how bro is, I really don't think he meant nothing by an assignment like beef. Now, Drake, you can take that how you want. I get that. So it's valid to feel like you're gonna crash out on somebody like that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_05After you get his tattoo, I used to get the jersey tattooed too. This makes sense. Come on now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, just just to wrap that up, I I do think that that whole little situation is weird because Drake had braun tatted, but just to move on, weird already move it, moving forward uh to our next topic. We got a little a little game, a quick little game that uh I found on the on the internet for real.
SPEAKER_03No, but people get their faces tagged. Like Katie got a whole mural of legs faces. I'm just saying, like weird same thing.
SPEAKER_01Okay, maybe not. He got jersey versus space. Maybe not space. Maybe maybe not. Maybe not. I'm sorry, I couldn't make it. Yeah, so like basically, all right. So the game is like, I'm gonna ask y'all a question, right? And I'm gonna I'm gonna read y'all a list of names, and y'all gotta cross off names one by one until it it it answers the question, right? So the question is which one of these wide receivers has the most career receiving yards?
SPEAKER_03Okay. What if I just what if we just know the answer?
SPEAKER_01You're not. Right? So I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna wait Yeah, so I'm gonna read the list, right? Okay, I'm gonna read the list out of out of uh most career yards, right? Career receiving yards out of Stephon Diggs, Keenan Allen, Tyree Kill, Devontae Adams, Julian Edelman, Mike Evans, Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Justin Jefferson, and Antonio Brown. So what y'all would do is y'all would just say a name and I would tell y'all if it's safe or not. And if it's not, then y'all lose the game. Right? So like what so y'all can just start by saying a name and I'll tell y'all how many yards they got, and if that's you know what I mean? Like y'all y'all get it? Not really, but okay, I'm interested. I would be able to get it.
SPEAKER_04So just I'm confused.
SPEAKER_01I'm not sure. So just just say a name, just say a name. That just said on the list. Keenan Allen. Keenan Allen has 12,051, so that was not the correct answer. So you're safe. He's safe. So y'all can keep going.
SPEAKER_06Oh, so if you say the person who who does have the the most then yeah, oh shit.
SPEAKER_01So Keenan Allen's off the list type shit. Okay. So who don't have it? Right.
SPEAKER_06So you gotta get to the city. You gotta eliminate everybody to get to the thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, just don't got. Okay. Yeah, he's second second least with 8,480. Julian Edelman. He's yeah, he was the least. 6,000, yeah. 6,000? 6,000. I don't have to stay. It's a woman.
SPEAKER_02I'm trying to think of everybody you say. I didn't forgot already.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, AB is closer to the top. You said who has D most, right? No, D most. It's not him. I'm trying to stick to it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so y'all got y'all got Stephon Diggs left, Tyree Kill, Devontae Adams. No, exactly. Mike Evans, Brandon Marshall.
SPEAKER_06Oh, Brandon, Devontae.
SPEAKER_01Brandon Marshall. I'm gonna go Devontae after that. Brandon Marshall's safe. Brandon's cooked. Devontae is safe. He was Devontae's safe. Yeah, let's see. That was probably clue. I thought that was close, but Tyreek Hill, no. Tyreek Hill is safe? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I still gotta remember the rest of the thing.
SPEAKER_01Y'all got Diggs, Mike Evans. Diggs is the digs out of there. Iggs is out.
SPEAKER_03I mean, Rashad, we know who the. Yeah, what's not in League of the Legends?
SPEAKER_01So who the last who the last one? Y'all got uh Mike Evans, Julio, and Antonio Brown.
unknownDamn.
SPEAKER_01Antonio Brown. Julio, who'll go who first. Is that your final answer? Julio, yeah. Julio. Julio's out first. Yeah, do you know A B?
unknownNever mind.
SPEAKER_01Julio, I had I know. Julio had the most on this list with 13,000. That's what I was about to say. AB 200,000 for years. AB had 12,291. Mike Evans has 13,052.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so I'm second.
SPEAKER_05A B, though.
SPEAKER_04I'm second.
SPEAKER_05I knew it was an A B. I was trying to stop y'all when I was saying Julio. I was like, oh no, hold on, bro.
SPEAKER_02Like, Julio's a big one. I just remember watching Julio, bro. Like, I always knew him to be like one of my favorite receivers, of course. And he was super dominant, but like I never felt like he was definitively the one.
SPEAKER_06That's my thing. I didn't think he would have had like no. But you got Joseph.
SPEAKER_01He was just throwing it up to him, bro. Matt Ryan won MVP. Like I got another version too, if y'all want to do it. Yeah, you got to get on that. All right, so the second version is who has the most Pro Bowls on this list? Okay? Okay. Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, TJ Watt, Miles Garrett, Trent Williams, Travis Kelsey, Kyle Uzchek, Aaron Rodgers, Tyree Kill, or Bobby Wagner.
SPEAKER_02Damn. I'm not gonna remember all them names.
SPEAKER_01Lamar Jackson. I'm taking Lamar. Yeah, Lamar's out. Lamar's safe he had the lease with four. Kyle Uzchak is out. Kyle. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_04Don't know. No. Fact too. He's like, bro, he's probably a high. I think him and Patrick were called. Every year.
SPEAKER_01I'm saying Patrick out of that list. I just can't remember like the other like you going with Patrick? I would say Patrick. Patrick is Patrick's safe. Patrick had second least with six. Yeah, I've knew you. So y'all have PJ Watt, Miles Garrett, Trent Williams, Travis Kelski, Kyle Uzchek, Aaron Rodgers, Tyree Hill, and Bobby Wagner. Tyree Hill.
SPEAKER_03Tyree Kill.
SPEAKER_01Tyreek Hill is safe with eight. We go Bobby Wagner.
SPEAKER_03Jane Watt. Oh, whoa. Bobby Wagner forgot his. You have to go back.
SPEAKER_01I know, but y'all going Bobby? Yeah. Bobby's safe with 10.
SPEAKER_03Where was he on that lane? Uh yeah, he's tied for third. He's tied for third. I'm just going back to Seattle days, even into now. Like he probably eighth one last year. We got Aaron Rodgers on the list, bro. I feel like I know who's number one. Yeah, he's like he's tied for third with Bobby.
SPEAKER_01I don't think y'all gonna get enough. Let me ask you this right now.
SPEAKER_03Is number one a tie? No.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03Okay, because I know.
SPEAKER_01No, no, number one is not a tie. No. So who's left? I know who's number one. AJ Watt, Miles Garrett, Trent Williams, Travis Kelsey, Kyle Juchek, Aaron Rodgers. You said Trent Williams? Yeah. Out of all that, probably Trent. I would go TJ Watt. It was either that or Kelsey. What's the answer? What's the final answer?
SPEAKER_02Which y'all think yeah? You said Travis.
SPEAKER_04I mean, y'all want me to just think who I say Travis Kelsey. Travis Kelsey probably got what, like eight? He probably has 10. He just said you said he's been in the lobby.
SPEAKER_03Bobby Wagner has 10. You think Travis Kelsey has a 10. Travis Kelsey has more than 10. Travis probably has like 13. For real? I'm for sure of it. Travis, we got some. Can we just go with TJ Watt?
SPEAKER_05He's the youngest on the list, guys. TJ Wyatt. This is also a Pro Bowl, not all pro. I know. Yeah, I'm going with TJ Wall.
SPEAKER_01TJ What? TJ Watt is safe. He was uh he was at eight. Yeah, he's younger.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but if y'all told me not to say Kyle Uzchak, because he's all the strength, he's the only full back to ever get in. He's up there. Then I know for sure it is not uh who I just say Trent Williams? No. No, he didn't say Trent.
SPEAKER_01Kyle Kelsey.
SPEAKER_02I know I know Kelsey don't got more than Uzczyk.
SPEAKER_01So that y'all have Miles Garrett, Trent Williams, Travis Kelsey, Kyle Uzchek, and Aaron Rodgers. I think for A. Miles Garrett, I would say Miles. Miles is safe. He has seven.
SPEAKER_03Now, fellas, can I just tell can I say who I think is number one?
SPEAKER_01Is that you gotta keep cutting them off, bro? Not saying to answer it, but I'm saying to like who's left, who's yeah, y'all you can discuss it. Yeah. Out of left, who's young? Who's left? Trent Williams, Travis Kelsey, Kelsey, Huzek, Aaron Rodgers, Rogers. They all old. I'm gonna be real with that.
SPEAKER_02You can still make it. Yeah, you still they had Pro Bow's fan voted.
SPEAKER_05That's what I'm saying. Like, Aaron has probably been there every year that he's not every, but like.
SPEAKER_03Honestly, bro, that's Aaron Rodgers. I kind of want to go Aaron. But don't Aaron, I think I think we can say Aaron Rodgers.
SPEAKER_02Wait, wait, wait. Just one clarity question, right? Did you actually have to go, or were you just nominated?
SPEAKER_06You're going based on what's the I think with it, whatever. If it says you were a pro bowler, like that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_01I think it's if if they even got the vote, like and I think it still counts even if they don't.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they would have been a pro bowler regardless.
SPEAKER_01Um Trent, Travis, I think we're saying use check, right?
SPEAKER_05I say it gotta be use check. I say we though take off use check. We take off juice Williams and Aaron Rodg, Aaron Rodgers. I'm fine with taking off juice. That's fine. Y'all wanna go juice?
SPEAKER_03Are we going juice? I mean he's not who he's not who I think number one, but I but he it's very possible. Y'all wanna go juice? He dead ass is the only one. If I'm outvoted, I'm outvoted. It's too much. Going use, juice? I said Aaron. You think Trent got more than Aaron? If you say other one other than Aaron, then it's gotta go. We gotta speed it up. We gotta move it along. I'm gonna go Aaron. I'm gonna go Aaron. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay, well, I'll I'll just yeah, it was because you said Aaron.
SPEAKER_03And then they both said juice, bro.
SPEAKER_04Damn.
SPEAKER_03So you still think Aaron, though? I still think Aaron. I was gonna go Aaron before you. Can we just do a double elimination?
SPEAKER_01Okay, so those are both safe. They were both uh ten. So that's the one. Yo, I know who number one is. So you got Trent Williams and Travis Kelsey. I knew I trent and Travis who gotta be. It gotta be.
SPEAKER_05Kelsey has to be one. What you gotta think though? Like what other left tackle is. He's been on pro what?
SPEAKER_03Six? He's been doing it since Washington. That's all I'm saying. So no, he's gotta. What's the Bobby was from saying we gotta remember?
SPEAKER_01Travis, Travis. Travis is safe, Trent Williams.
SPEAKER_04No, but when he said the list and I heard Trent Williams' name, I'm like, how many? He knows it's one. One I remember.
SPEAKER_05I was missing one. What's his name? Y'all remember Tyler Iford? He probably won't.
SPEAKER_01He probably took it. It was it was uh Kyle Yuzchek, Wagner, Aaron Rodgers all had 10. They were all tied at 10. Kelsey had 11, Trent had 12.
SPEAKER_04I just knew that he wasn't one.
SPEAKER_02I'm saying, I'm saying, I'm saying, no, in this game, it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_03If you're not one, then you're safe. Me personally, I I honestly I thought it was a tie between Trent and Kyle. Kyle's not a bad tie, but that's why I'm like, because I'm like, yo, he's there every fucking year.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, I mean, the game looked like it was a success. You guys look like y'all enjoyed it.
SPEAKER_02Um, easier chill, bro. It might have been easier if you're gonna do it. I didn't want to say instead of us having to remember all of them, you just went one by one and we say yes or no.
SPEAKER_01But we kind of already did something similar to that. So I was like, that's why I wanted to present it this way.
SPEAKER_02Sure.
SPEAKER_01Um, no, it was cool though. That was that on your own? No, no, no. I saw something. I just came up with like the list, you know what I mean? Um, but yeah, yeah. Moving forward, we're in the middle of the uh NBA playoffs. We know that uh the Knicks are going to the finals right now. We don't know if it's gonna be the Spurs or uh OKC, but like I I guess like what have y'all taken from that Spurs OKC series? Do y'all think whoever comes out the West is winning the chip? Absolutely. Like, don't be with those guys.
SPEAKER_03I don't I used to be with the Knicks.
SPEAKER_02I used to feel that way that whoever was coming out the West is gonna win. But yo, the Knicks, the Knicks, y'all.
SPEAKER_06The Knicks are showing niggas something. I'm not saying they can't win, though. I just feel like, bro, I think that West moves really well with them, bro.
SPEAKER_04I do too, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't think it's gonna be as easy as it was a few months ago. They're not shopping. Put it like this. Yeah, I mean, the Knicks have a historic offense right now, bro. Like it's like the point, the point that Richard is like 22 points. It's crazy.
SPEAKER_02They're blowing good teams out the water. They're not gonna do that to either OKC or the Spurs.
SPEAKER_03Like it will be good games.
unknownYeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But I I I I don't know what it is watching these playoffs. OKC has not seemed as dominant as they didn't look at respect. I'm gonna say J Dub has been out.
SPEAKER_03He does like J Dub's out of AJ Mitchell's out of the missing piece. That's why.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it's a good thing. J Dub's always out, though. Like yo, Chet is phony. But when he plays Chet phony.
SPEAKER_03He's not yet he's not a five, he's a cool four. Like, I don't know what it is, though. Like, he he even seemed like he played better last year.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, like Chet and Wimby, Chet and Wimby kind of grew up together, like they were rivals growing up together, like in a lot of the same basketball circuits. Wimby lapped him. Like, it's it's not even close, bro.
SPEAKER_03Ridiculous.
SPEAKER_02Like, they're already talking on shows, like, bro, if OKC lose, like I chat, I I send Chet, J Dub, and a couple picks for Giannis. Yeah, I seen J Dub in a lot of talks. Sheesh, word. J Dub and a couple picks for Giannis. Like J Dub's always hurt.
SPEAKER_06I mean, yeah, because now I get it, because it kind of filled that role with Jerry McCain. Like, he kind of he you can you can fill that role with Jerry McCain if you get rid of Jay Dub. I think we got his own. Okay, well, no. For availability.
SPEAKER_04For availability, yes. J Dub's. He's gonna be hurt. I'm taking Jerry.
SPEAKER_03It was on the all-NBA defense.
SPEAKER_01I was about to say Jerry McCain's not a defender.
SPEAKER_04He's hurt. But does it matter?
SPEAKER_02Y'all are making the wrong fulfillment though. Like, I don't need to replace J Dub with Jerry McCain if I get Giannis. Like, if I get Giannis.
SPEAKER_03You don't need to Giannis not hurt all years. It's just fine. So was Giannis and J Dub damn near not play the same amount of games?
SPEAKER_02No, Giannis was shut down because they were losing and they didn't want to take, they didn't want to ruin his trade value. But don't Giannis could have he was trying to play half the season.
SPEAKER_01Doesn't OKC have a top draft pick? Well no. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they have a first-round pick. They have like 12. They have like 12.
SPEAKER_01And they could they could trade up, couldn't they?
SPEAKER_02Like if they really wanted to? Potentially. But I'm but I'm just saying, like, like if you're replacing JW and Chat with Giannis, I don't even think McCain's in that picture. I think you've already replaced that production.
SPEAKER_05But blown up the team after you just won a chip and you go, you know, what's the comment finally? We've seen it before. We've seen it before.
SPEAKER_02For Giannis.
SPEAKER_05What does the rest of the team around up look like though? I mean, like fame.
SPEAKER_02You take out Chet. JW never played, and you put Giannis.
SPEAKER_04So what happens? So literally what happens when Giannis misses the same amount of fucking games that these niggas do. I don't know if he's gonna do that.
SPEAKER_02He will. He's been doing it every year. Like I mean, you might can project injuries. I can't project that. Well, I think I'm gonna lie. Okay.
SPEAKER_04The only reason has Giannis been consistently on the foot for the last two years. Has his team been good? He's been missing so many times.
SPEAKER_03So we're not throwing that narrative or Giannis that now he's he's on the narrative that because of the team is not good, I'm not gonna give a damn to be out there and playing. That's what I think is going on. Yeah, I hope not. That just means that man Americanized as fuck now. I think he is.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. Absolutely. If I'm trying to be traded and this team has no chance of not even that fuck championship, no chance of making the playoffs.
SPEAKER_03No chance of making the playoffs, then like, yeah, I'm hurt. So why would he come out and say what he just said last season where he wants to still be here and he still wants to contend for the that's that's that's that's window dressing.
SPEAKER_01That's what that is. Yeah, right, all right. Just a smoothie for real.
SPEAKER_05So you would trade it. So you think that's I I don't think that that's that's in creative obviously you would do it. I feel like you would do it in a heartbeat if that wasn't. You wouldn't give up.
SPEAKER_01So you can get two for early.
SPEAKER_03So the Knicks lose the final so the Knicks lose the finals, you blow it up and go get Giannis still? No.
SPEAKER_02No, not the Knicks. They have a historical playoff run. They probably just need to tweak or add a piece. They don't need to blow any of the Knicks.
SPEAKER_06The Knicks have the Knicks made it to the E-France Conference Finals last year.
SPEAKER_01I don't even think they needed a piece.
SPEAKER_02I think this is a great team. This is a great team. When I look at OKC, right, it's like it's like basically what's what's in between them and being a juggernaut is Wimby, right? Who can guard Wimby? Yanna's probably the best you're gonna get.
SPEAKER_05But the non-Wimby minutes are so bad for the Spurs, though. Like you, they're the ones we need to be talking about for trading, honestly. But they're gonna be pigeonholed because Fox's contract is what, like 50? Fox is getting traded, bro. Fox getting traded. Not saying that he's not nice or anything, but like just comes up with too much.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I saw I saw Dion guard. Y'all think that uh Donovan Mitchell could be on the move too? Like y'all, y'all think that Cleveland could ship him too? They need to do something.
SPEAKER_05There's no way they bring up.
SPEAKER_03They did say they're gonna resign James Harden to a multi-year deal.
SPEAKER_01I'm just I'm just saying, I've seen, I've seen they haven't done it yet, so that's in theory. Like they could still like tweet.
SPEAKER_05I do think that like Donovan probably needs to be the second option, probably to somebody else. I don't know. Because I do feel like maybe shit, fuck it, bro. Hey, going back to the room.
SPEAKER_03Oh, we need to talk. Well, if if going with the route that he just said, I mean, why can't Evan Moby step his game up and be the number one?
SPEAKER_02I've been waiting for Evan Moby.
SPEAKER_04Right? I've been saying this, bro.
SPEAKER_03Like Evan Mobley should be the number one.
SPEAKER_04He shouldn't be the number one option. What are we doing?
SPEAKER_03Like, come on, you putting up Jared Allen numbers. No disrespect to Jared Allen, bro. Jared Allen and Hooper, though, man. I get that, but my point being, Mobley should be way better above him. Bro, so like what what does Cleveland do then?
SPEAKER_05Like, what's I just think I don't think they should resign. I don't think they should re-sign James Harden just based on the fact he's 36 now, he'll be 37. Like, uh, do you get does he get better? Like I think like what are we doing?
SPEAKER_02I think I think Cleveland needs to re-sign D Mitch. They need to sign LeBron for the one year, right? They need to sign LeBron and get a defensive wing like McDaniels or give him a max? Michael Bridge. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_05Braun said he's not signing us is for the max.
SPEAKER_02I mean, Bron, I think he deserved a max.
SPEAKER_05Okay. So I'm just asking.
SPEAKER_02How old is Bron for one year? 41? That's 41. You're only getting him for one year. Probably 50. It's 50. It's probably more, bro. But that's killing your cap and like your benchmark.
SPEAKER_03You don't think that that doesn't help with you going to get some good wings that y'all? You gotta get away. I feel like regardless, you gotta get some specific case that Bron gotta get the You gotta get another playmate. You gotta get another player.
SPEAKER_01Well, because Dean Dean Wade's gone. Like he's he's gonna be a free agent.
SPEAKER_03If like if you I'm not saying you're wrong, you're not wrong. Oh he's great, but to still keep up consistently on a whole full season. I just think in the Easter conference wings.
SPEAKER_02I just think in the Eastern Conference, if I went to the Eastern Conference finals and you're telling me I got the same team except for instead of James Harden, I got LeBron, that might be what put you in the finals.
SPEAKER_05How do you look at like the way I look at it year at the year though, like in a front, like in terms of like NBA, or just like sports in general, just like who's getting better? How do I match up? Did I get better from last year? If you walk right back into the season, into next season with the same roster that you just lost to, that you just lost with, did you get better? That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02You're gonna get over next year. You swap out Harden for LeBron and you find a cheap young wing to put in that spot. That there's a cheap young wing. They're easy to find, bro. No, they're not easy to find. Here's my thing. Everyone's signed. LeBron, we all know LeBron getting signed somewhere, right? Everybody agreed. If he don't retire, he's gonna play on some team next year, right? I heard that. Whether he takes a pay cut or not, he's gonna play, right? If he don't retire, he's gonna make somebody roster, right? The roster that he joins is gonna be a team. Who thinks I can win the Super Bowl? I can win the finals this year.
SPEAKER_05I think this is all window dressing. I think I don't think he's leaving McLean State.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I don't I don't see the vision in LA. I don't.
SPEAKER_05You might, but like, I think just outside of football, like, you got Bronny, you got Fam over there.
SPEAKER_03Like, okay, I think that's supposed to be a package. Real quick, let's use the same logic you just had with Cleveland with the Lakers. You don't think you add Luca that y'all gonna not probably be in the Western Conference Finals playing against the Spurs, maybe? In the Western Conference Finals? No. I don't think they're gonna be. Granted, I know it was a sweep, but I'm just saying, like, you don't think Luka.
SPEAKER_02I think I think I think Luca probably gets them one more round, but they they they they probably they're not deep enough.
SPEAKER_03They don't have one more than that.
SPEAKER_02That one more could have potentially been passed OKC. Yeah, I don't think. But I'm saying that I don't see them beating OKC and the Spurs in the same run. So, in my opinion, like that roster is not deep enough. Austin Rules is full. Austin Reeves is fool's goal. Yeah, Jared Vanderbilt who can't shoot. You get two in the regular season, but every every year Austin Reeves goes out in the regular season, balls out, drops all these points, averages 18 to 22 points per game, gets to the playoffs, and looks completely.
SPEAKER_05Well, I do think there's a difference though. That I do think that like there's 82-game players or 81-game players, and then there's 16-game players. Like you do need guys who can like in the playoff time, you need you do need foul baiters. I can't lie. Like, you do need guys to give guys in foul trouble. And he's a good guy for that, but like he can't defend as well on the other side. So that's why I do that. As a Lakers fan, I don't think that like Luca and Austin Reed's can be on the court at the same time, really. But like, what are you gonna do?
SPEAKER_02Hey, that's what I'm saying. That's what I was saying. Like, I don't think Luca and Austin Reed, and Luca won't stay. They don't have a center. I don't think Luca. That's not a problem, bro.
SPEAKER_01Y'all don't have a who y'all got playing the five? Jackson Hayes and I don't care about you asked me a question right here.
SPEAKER_02I don't care. I don't care about who's playing center when both of my backcourts are getting blown past every possession. If I have Austin Reeves and uh uh Luca on the court at the same time, they're both getting blown past on every defensive possession. But you gotta no matter who you got at the rim, unless it's Rudy Gobert, AD, or Wemby or Giannis, niggas are gonna score, bro.
SPEAKER_05But it was working for them.
SPEAKER_01They were at least, what, fourth spot, didn't they? I mean, in the regular season. Bro, but you you got a center that can't even catch the ball. You know how many times they pass it to AKM.
SPEAKER_03Can we at least drop it? Y'all need someone better than DeLo.
SPEAKER_02No, I agree, but I also I also need players that's gonna guard.
SPEAKER_03I mean, you're not wrong, but it just we just agree the roster is flawed. Y'all literally watched DeAndre Aiden not even. I literally watched DeAndre not even go foot for a rebound in front of Dominating, bro. That's just where I'm saying, like, you gotta draw the line.
SPEAKER_02I'm just saying the Lakers ain't lose because of DeAndre Aiden. They lost because what they lost because they lost because of injuries. And when we depended, when I say we because I am somewhat a Lakers fan, I don't really have an NBA team. But I when Reeves was on the court, you couldn't depend on him for nothing. He wasn't scoring consistently and he wasn't playing defense. So yeah, it just came off an injury too. That's my point.
SPEAKER_01What are y'all finals predictions and like like winners? I guess like obviously it's the Knicks, but like is it Nick Spurs, Nick's OKC? Like, and who do y'all got like winning?
SPEAKER_02I got Nick Spurs and I got Knicks in six.
SPEAKER_06I got Nick Spurs and I got either one in seven, maybe. I think I'ma go leaning more to the Spurs though. Yeah. Seven though. It's going seven. It has to. OKC Nick's. And I'll probably say next and six.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna go Knicks Spurs, repeat a 1999, but the Knicks are gonna do it in six.
SPEAKER_02Roger.
SPEAKER_01I think I'm leaning uh next OKC, and I think OKC takes it in seven.
SPEAKER_02I was about to say if OKC go, they're gonna win. I don't know. Really? It's gonna be crazy to see him going and lose, though.
SPEAKER_01It's gonna be special. It's gonna be crazy. I'm not gonna lie, we we're gassing up Wimby, but Wimby looked kind of regular.
SPEAKER_05But I think the last thing he has to do everything. Like, I mean, like, that's why I don't believe in them to beat OKC. That's what I'm saying. You know what I mean? Like, like the last few games, he's he looked real tired.
SPEAKER_03Guys, let's just think about this for a second. The Knicks are damn near probably the freshest that team has been in going into the final in years. Why are y'all so confident that OKC is just gonna definitely take it if they get that?
SPEAKER_01Well, because you see how the Knicks looked when they played the Cavs and they had that time off? They they went down 20. The first time. But they did. But look, look, look. Come on now. I I understand, but if they go down 20 against OKC, I don't think they're gonna be. They go down 20 against OKC.
SPEAKER_06Birds not going down to Cavs. This ain't the motherfucking calves. It's gonna be 40 shots. It's a different, it's a different cow.
SPEAKER_03Like it, I'm just saying, bro. Because they came out that first game and they looked rusty. I genuinely think the Knicks honestly think. I think the Knicks are getting a NBA championship this year. It's my PvP. I would love to see it's about to be insane.
SPEAKER_01Uh no, hate Knicks fans, bro. I I don't care, bro. I get it, bro. But I just feel like anyways, yeah, yeah. But we we we uh goes it's supposed to be. We we we can move on, bro. We can move along. We could um we we we're doing this segment every episode where we pull up clips, right? Um uh Dex, if you want to help us cue it up. Um, but uh yeah, we got we got four new clips for y'all this week. Last episode we thought it was pretty cool. Um, so uh yeah. I think we're gonna start with the first clip. It's uh F1.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's my clip. I chose this clip specifically because yo, everybody knows I love F1. But I like this this one specifically because this is like the start of I feel everybody feels like it's like a teammate beef, like how it was back in 2016 with Nico, with uh with Nico and And Lewis Hamilton. George Russell was supposed to be the senior driver, but Kimmy is now winning the uh the drivers championship by 43 points because um George ended up crashing this race, battling um Kimmy Antonelli, and he ended up retiring his car in the middle of the race, which would have probably if he went in one second, he would have only been down like 15 points or 20 something points. But now people are saying like his George Russell's like championship run is kind of starting to spiral down. And they're trying to say he doesn't, he can't handle the pressure with being like racing up against somebody as fast as Kimmy. They're in the same car, they're both in the Merc. And I feel like this might start some turmoil between the two, even though Kimmy is also has been the better driver. He's won four consistent races back to back, and this is he's the youngest driver that ever win his first four races consecutively, and he's the he's the first driver since 2020, Lewis Hamilton, to win four drivers for Mercedes consecutively. So I feel like that shit is amazing because he's one of the youngest drivers on the um on the grid, and he is completely dominating everybody. He's the he's dominating legends, he's dominating his own teammates, he's dominating people that didn't they didn't think that he was gonna be better than so I like this shit because that bro, Formula One is so interesting. I feel like a lot of people should watch it more. But like that shit is crazy, bro.
SPEAKER_02No, I started to see a lot more Formula One in my uh like feeds on X. Yeah, um after he won. That's how I knew he got four. Yeah. Because when I didn't know nothing about him, when you the first clip you brought up, when you was talking about he won three, and I was like, oh, that's you know what I'm saying? I don't watch to know, but I know that's a crazy accomplishment. And then I knew he won four because it started to creep into my news. So maybe that's something that more people should tap into, bro.
SPEAKER_06You like cars you like racing for when it was there, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I think car I think racing is is like one of those things is like you wouldn't like get it unless you just sat down and watched it for a little minute. And then you'd be like, but why does everybody white like why about like why does everybody like that so much? And then you watching, like, I get it. I understand. Yeah, absolutely. Like golf. Like golf is golf.
SPEAKER_02I tried watching golf.
SPEAKER_05The final round of the masters, though, bro, like when it's heated, it was actually insane. I seen it. It was actually insane. When it's heated, bro, like you know, you gotta make this putt to like win, bro. It's you can hear a pin drop, baby the special, like, yeah, you gotta go, you're like, I'm trying to go. I'm trying to learn how to golf, but like it's it's it's real funny. The plus is fun to play too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, I ain't gonna lie, I gotta tap in with the racing because like like y'all said, you just if you just sit down and watch it, like I I I just gotta because I didn't know what was happening.
SPEAKER_06Just you know, I know you people lap each other, and then you you if you want to get like a little bit more of a backstory to like the like what happens on the other side of the track, like off grid, watch drive watch go to Netflix and watch Drive to Survive. That's like that could get anybody in the Formula One after you see what happens when they're not in the cars, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03So yeah, so this highlight is from the game against the Spurs and OKC. I was what was this game two? This was the dunk on Isaiah Hartenstein by uh Stefan Castle. And y'all know me, y'all know I just love a good poster. Honestly, I know the last clip that I showed was the uh I think it was Jamal Kane on Jaron Duran. In my opinion, this is way better because you can just oh my god, that's that shit is nasty. It's on a seven-footer, so like you gotta think about it. The bounce, the extension, the fucking force that he used to bangle.
SPEAKER_06Like Stefan Cass is only like six foot, too.
SPEAKER_03And that's what I'm saying. Like, yo, he's not a dungeon. And then you gotta wait for the funniest part about it is they show Wimby's reaction after the dunk. Because this was probably literally the entire anybody watching the game, that was their reaction. You got Reggie Miller all grabbing on jumping off on the sidelines.
SPEAKER_01Y'all know uh Hartenstein is actually black. Yeah, he's black German. Yeah, yeah, I just I thought I was breaking news there. No, you know.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, no, that's just that's no, that's that's you just gotta love a good old classic, oof. Good old classic man.
SPEAKER_01Hartenstein didn't didn't fall. At least he just got the inbound and I'm about to say, yeah.
SPEAKER_05You gotta you gotta I'm gonna go with the other one just because of the fall is kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_03I just I go with this one because it's on the seven-footer.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like, come on now.
SPEAKER_06Small guard at seven-footed, gotta go with it. I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_05You gotta throw the ball out to him. You gotta ball, you gotta throw the ball at him after that. All right, we're gonna do next clip. I think it is the clip we're showing right here.
SPEAKER_02This is a uh deep ball to Deshaun from Deshaun Watson to uh Boston, um, rookie that was just drafted um on two defenders right there. I believe it's a safety in the corner. Um obviously it's no pads, it's OTA, so you don't want to take too much from it. But um two things I took from it from the standpoint is like, yo, um, I got a hot take. I am actually going to be a believer in Deshaun Watson. I do think that Deshaun Watson will not be who we thought he was originally, but he will excel and be the first. I think he will be the first starter for the Browns coming out in week one, and I think he'll be okay. I think he will be at least 70% of the Deshaun Watson we thought that we would get when he first signed there. Um, a lot of people have moved on from him, so that's a pretty hot take. Um, but and then also this uh Boston. Um I wasn't too big on Boston coming out because these big body receivers usually can't move well. Um and the Patriots, we've had bad luck with these guys. Um, but he looked like he he lost him on a double move pretty smoothly. So I was like, all right, he got a little wiggle to him. He's not just one of these big body guys that's just gonna jump over everybody. Um so I I thought it was pretty, pretty intriguing to see their connection together, especially the fact that this is the first time we've seen Watson in like two years. Um I thought he looked good from this throw. It was on target, it was downfield. That's what they're looking for in Cleveland.
SPEAKER_06Um I will say a hell uh a healthy Deshaun Watson sitting in front of a Shador is a good look. I I'm not gonna lie, like, um, at least like if you don't like Deshaun Watson, I feel like mentorship and mentality of which Deshaun Watson was doing would be something good that Shador should be able to look at. Considering it's like you know, you don't know what Shador can do until you give him a full season. You give him you give him the time to get the snaps, get the games in, and let him get their practice. Um, so he he really couldn't really sit in front of nobody last year. So don't care.
SPEAKER_03I just keep finding it funny when like people, when you make this statement, you say, you know, we're gonna think that he's he's gonna show that he's not the guy that we thought. Yeah, and it's just funny because it's like you immediately go to think like, well, I mean, we all thought he was, you know, a weird kind of guy. It's just funny because when you say yo, he should learn from Deshaun, it's like, so he's not learning too much now. But just football. Just football.
SPEAKER_02I ain't talking about all the physical stuff, but we thought he might be in the day. He can do that in his free time. I'm just saying, he was a peretable, like top seven quarterback at once. Like, you know how we thought CJ Straud would have been. He was a top seven quarterback. Honestly. Um, and and I think he'll finish, you know, as an above average guy.
SPEAKER_03I actually fuck it. I would say I am a Deshaun Watson fan. Um, I've been wanting him to unfortunately, I don't want him to show it now because he's in a division, but I've been wanting him to get back to himself for a long time now. But hey, hopefully this is the year. I mean, shit, we got a the close flash we got of it is when he brought them back to beat us a few years ago. Yeah, so I I I kind of agree with you. Let's just hope it's not too much now, because I don't need Cleveland making that much noise. But I don't know.
SPEAKER_05I feel like a lot of uh Baltimore, I feel like a lot of the like Browns fans are past Deshaun like Watson for a lot of different reasons. Valid reasons, obviously, but like there's so much money tied into him that I kind of feel like you kind of are forced. Gotta play. Yeah, I feel like you're kind of forced to see at least what he's gonna do.
SPEAKER_02And then if he's you know, if he I mean it's it's him or Shador.
SPEAKER_05Like those are the only things that are personally, but like, I mean, I get I get why they get that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but you're paying him 50 million.
SPEAKER_01All right, so uh we just got one more clip, and then uh I think that'll be it for the episode. Um yeah, so this is uh what Korean Korean baseball league. Um, I'm gonna be real with y'all. I really don't know a whole lot about this clip. I just know that my boy coming home from third put the herky jerk moves on the catcher and he was safe. I saw this on Sports Center last night. I thought this was so cool, bruh. Cause like, just if you look at it back, the pitch is in this. I mean, the catcher's in disbelief. Because he just got put in a blender. Because he's sold, bro. But he he hit the catcher with the Okie doke coming in from third. I'm gonna see if they replay it. They about to. This was them disgusting. They reviewing it. Yeah, check this out. Check this out. My boy comes in. Excuse me. One slide. Come on. I'm coming back. He think he's going right back to the base. Nope. Hit him again. Yeah, he ain't never saying moves like that, bro. Hey, but like, KJ, out of all those clips you saying, which one did you think was the hardest? Oh, real quick to wrap it up.
SPEAKER_05I like that one. Cause like, as a former baseball guy, I do I do feel like like baseball, like younger, but like it's just so hard to do stuff like that and then like to not get tagged. I don't know. I like stuff like that. Like, play, like plays at the plate, they make baseball fun. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01All right. Well, um, that does it for another episode of the Fourth Down Podcast. Uh, thank you, KJ, for being our special guest this episode. Sure. Um, thanks y'all for locking in. And as always, thanks for being my friend.
SPEAKER_02Get it together, hoes.
